Lil Chiggy

Lil Chiggy is an exhilarating spring run that serves as the perfect test of winter training, taking place at Cape Chignecto Park on May 30, 2027. Participants start and finish at the park's main gate, racing along the challenging Red Trail to Refugee Cove where they must collect a token before returning it back to the starting line. The course is approximately 24 kilometers long, with slight variations depending on your GPS device. Cape Chignecto Provincial Park, affectionately known as "Chiggy" by those who have experienced its beauty and technical trails, offers stunning scenery and significant elevation gain throughout the race.
The single-track trail winds through dense forests and along rocky coastlines, providing a mix of challenging terrain that tests runners' endurance and agility. While registration is final and refunds or deferrals are not offered, bib transfers up until May 15th, 2027 allow participants to pass their spots on to others if needed. This race promises an unforgettable experience for those looking to push themselves in one of Nova Scotia's most scenic parks.
