Halifax Movember Run 2026

Join us for the Movember Run on November 21, 2026, as we lace up our shoes and hit the trails of Halifax's picturesque Point Pleasant Park. This 6km run is designed to celebrate the spirit of Movember with a community-focused event that welcomes runners of all ages and abilities.
Meet at Shakespeare by the Sea building in the lower parking lot for an early morning start at 9:00 AM, following registration beginning at 8:00 AM. The race will kick off with the people-only segment followed closely by a Canicross/Dog Run starting five minutes later, ensuring that both human and canine participants can enjoy this special event together.
The course winds through Point Pleasant Park's lush greenery and scenic trails, offering runners stunning views of Halifax Harbour as they navigate the route. The race is stroller-friendly, making it an inclusive experience for families who want to participate in a fun morning out with their little ones.
Prizes will be awarded to both male and female winners, along with additional honors given to those sporting creative Movember-themed costumes or participating in Canicross as fastest dog-and-human teams. There are also draw prizes up for grabs throughout the event.
To ensure an enjoyable experience for all participants, we're limiting registration to 100 runners on a first-come, first-served basis. In case of severe weather conditions that may necessitate park closures by city authorities, updates will be communicated via email no later than 7:30 AM on the day of the race. If the event is cancelled due to these circumstances, participants have the option for refunds or can opt into a virtual run.
