Experience breathtaking ocean views along the Saanich Physio + Bazan Bay 5K on April 11, 2027. This scenic race offers runners and walkers of all abilities an unforgettable journey through Tulista Park and beyond. Starting from Tulista Park in a vibrant coastal setting, participants will traverse approximately 2.5 kilometers along the oceanfront before turning back for another 2.5 kilometers to complete the full course. The route features a very gentle incline on the outbound leg that is barely noticeable, followed by an equally mild descent during the return trip, allowing runners to accelerate and finish strong. With a race cap of 900 participants, this event promises both camaraderie and personal challenge for everyone from beginners to seasoned Olympians. The Saanich Physio + Bazan Bay 5K is part of the Island Series, where individual competitors can earn points in various races throughout the season, as well as contribute to team standings.
