Golden Ears Trail Run 2027

Experience the thrill of Golden Ears Provincial Park at the 5 Peaks Trail Run, an exhilarating event that caters to runners and hikers alike on May 1st, 2027. Nestled within one of British Columbia's largest parks, this race offers a diverse range of distances for all ages and abilities: from the fun-filled Kids Fun Run at 1 km to challenging adult courses like the Grit Run at 16 km.
The event kicks off early Saturday morning with packet pick-up and registration between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, followed by various start times for different categories. Hikers have a special advantage as they begin their journey one hour before runners to enjoy an unhurried pace led by experienced leaders.
Participants will traverse through the park's extensive trail network, offering breathtaking views of Alouette Lake and lush forests along the way. The terrain varies from gentle paths suitable for families and beginners to more rugged trails designed for seasoned athletes seeking a true challenge.
Aimed at minimizing environmental impact, this is a cup-free event where water stations will provide hydration options without disposable cups. Runners are encouraged to bring reusable containers if they anticipate longer durations on the course.
Safety remains paramount with rules prohibiting dogs, headphones, strollers, and nordic walking poles (except for hiking divisions). Parking is conveniently located near the start/finish line at Lot 2, just a short walk from check-in.
Join this vibrant community of trail enthusiasts as you explore Golden Ears Park's natural beauty while testing your limits in one of its scenic trails.
