New Longton 10k & 1 Mile Family Fun Run

On Sunday, March 14th, 2027, the New Longton community will come together for a day of running and camaraderie at All Saints Primary School on Hugh Barn Lane. The venue offers an inviting atmosphere with lush green spaces surrounding the school grounds, creating a picturesque setting for both runners and spectators.
The main event is a competitive 10k race that starts promptly at 10:00 AM. This course winds through the heart of Preston, offering participants a mix of urban paths and scenic routes. The terrain varies slightly but remains manageable for all skill levels. With a flat to rolling landscape, this race presents an excellent opportunity for runners looking to test their speed or set personal bests.
Medals will be awarded to every finisher at both the 10k event and the Family Fun Run, which begins earlier in the morning at 9:30 AM. The shorter run is designed specifically for families with children under 15 years old. Young runners can enjoy a safe and fun environment while being cheered on by their parents or guardians.
