Gisburn Forest 10km Trail Race

Pendle Trail Running Club invites trail runners to experience the magic of Gisburn Forest with its inaugural 10km Trail Race on Saturday, April 22nd, 2027. Nestled within the heart of England's enchanting woodlands, this race promises a captivating journey through winding trails and serene landscapes that have long captivated hikers and cyclists alike.
Licensed by the Trail Running Association in strict accordance with England Athletics rules, the event is designed for runners aged 18 years or older who are ready to explore Gisburn Forest's bewitching terrain. The race entry fee includes a range of exclusive perks such as commemorative momentos and goodies, ensuring that participants not only enjoy the run but also take home memorable keepsakes.
Registration opens on December 1st, 2026, giving runners ample time to secure their spot for this unique trail running adventure. Participants can look forward to an exhilarating race day starting at 11am with registration beginning from 9:30am. The race course winds through the forest's undulating trails and offers a total elevation gain of 184 meters, presenting both challenges and breathtaking views.
