Calder Vale Good Friday 10 mile and 2 mile fun run

About the Event

On March 26th, 2027, runners of all abilities will converge on Calder Vale Village Hall for an exciting day filled with competitive spirit and community camaraderie. The event offers two distinct race options: the Fun Run starting at 10am and a more challenging 10-mile course set to begin just one hour later.
Participants can look forward to crossing the finish line with a well-deserved medal, celebrating their achievements in this picturesque village setting. However, it's important for all competitors to be aware that there are no deferrals or refunds available once registration is complete. This ensures fairness and helps organizers plan effectively for the day ahead.
For those competing on roads during either race, strict rules apply regarding personal audio devices. To ensure safety and compliance with England Athletics guidelines, only bone conduction headphones will be permitted. These innovative earpieces allow runners to stay aware of their surroundings while enjoying music or other entertainment privately.
The event promises a blend of scenic routes through the heart of Calder Vale, offering participants an engaging experience that highlights both the beauty and challenges of local landscapes. Whether you're aiming for personal bests on the longer course or simply out for a fun day with friends in the shorter run, this race has something to offer every runner.
