Benoni | 18:00 pm | January

Embark on your running journey with the Couch Potato Run Club's Beginner Program at Bunny Park, Benoni, designed specifically for those who have never run before. The program starts gently, offering 30 seconds of running followed by walking breaks to help you ease into a routine without feeling overwhelmed or out of breath. Each session takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM over an eight-week period leading up to January 18, 2027.
The club understands the hesitations many beginners face when starting their running journey—fear of being out of shape or holding others back—and ensures a supportive environment where no one feels judged. The program's structure is carefully crafted to avoid sudden jumps in difficulty that often lead to frustration and quitting. Instead, it gradually reduces walking intervals while keeping run times short throughout the eight weeks.
Join fellow beginners at Bunny Park for an inclusive experience that includes dog-friendly sessions, fostering community and motivation as you progress towards your first 5K finish line on January 18, 2027. For more information or to sign up, visit .
