Cradle Moon Swim

On January 10, 2027, runners and swimmers gather at Cradle Moon Lake Side Game Lodge in Muldersdrift, Johannesburg, for an invigorating day of competition and camaraderie. The morning kicks off with registration opening at 7:30 AM, setting the stage for a full day of events. At 8:30 AM, participants take to the scenic course for the open 3k race, winding through lush landscapes that highlight the natural beauty surrounding Cradle Moon Lake.
Following the 3k event, the focus shifts to shorter distances with separate starts at 10 AM and 11 AM for ladies and men's 1500m races respectively. These age-group divisions offer a range of competitive opportunities from youth categories up to those over 51 years old. Each race promises an intimate setting where participants can enjoy the camaraderie among runners sharing similar goals.
The day concludes with a fun-filled 500m swim at noon, open to all and designed for enjoyment rather than competition. This casual event allows swimmers of varying abilities to cool off in Cradle Moon Lake's refreshing waters while celebrating their achievements throughout the day.
Entry fees vary from R320 for the full 3k race to a more affordable R150 for the fun swim, ensuring accessibility across different budgets and interests.
