Registration begins inside the bar at 6:00 PM, followed by a run start time of 6:30 PM sharp. The route takes runners through a series of twists and turns in a brand new setting, culminating in an exhilarating finish back at the Voodoo Keller Bar. Be prepared to climb stairs out of the basement both as you begin your journey and when you return.
The highlight of this event is chasing after the elusive Keller Rabbit, which sets off on foot 5 minutes ahead of runners at 6:25 PM. Your mission? Catch up with the rabbit, retrieve an uneaten chocolate egg from its basket or bag (details to be confirmed), and bring it back to the bar before the rabbit does. If you manage this feat without giving in to temptation, a cocktail awaits as your reward.
For those who might need assistance getting home after enjoying their drink upgrade, there are various transportation options available: buses, trains, bicycles, hire scooters, or walking routes within 2 minutes of local car parks. The bar provides a secure area for bag storage during the race at participants' own risk.
Event kit essentials include your mobile phone with the registration number and a headtorch, ensuring you're well-prepared for any conditions that may arise on this exciting journey through Easter festivities. A narrative guide along with GPX and Strava route links will be sent out to registered runners in early March.
