Welcome to the 2026 Seasons Championship Series at Trifarm, an extended and exciting 15k race that winds through scenic public footpaths and bridleways. This championship series is renowned for its challenging yet rewarding course set against a backdrop of natural beauty in Boreham.
Registration opens promptly at 10:30 AM with the last minute to sign up being 10:50 AM, allowing ample time for participants to collect their race numbers and water near Trifarm’s buildings. The race start is scheduled for 11:00 AM from the south bank of the lake, giving runners enough buffer time to walk down from the carpark.
The route itself is an exhilarating loop that keeps you engaged with its varied terrain, nearly all off-road, offering a mix of soft paths and challenging trails. The race finishes back at Trifarm’s edge near the running track by the road entry point, completing your journey around this picturesque venue.
For those looking to add some extra thrill before the run, there's an optional discounted pre-run polar bear swim available upon registration. Just ensure you've completed a required swim test beforehand directly with Trifarm for eligibility.
Plenty of parking is provided on-site at Trifarm along Church Road in CM3 3DS, making it convenient to park and start your day early or enjoy the surroundings before the event begins.
Race numbers must be worn prominently on the front throughout the race. Remember to keep them unfolded as manual timing will rely on clear visibility of these numbers for accurate results recording upon crossing the finish line.
Participants can download a detailed route narrative from www.multisport-management.co.uk during the week leading up to the race, ensuring you're familiar with every twist and turn before your run day arrives. A start list containing vital information such as your race number details and registration process will be emailed out a couple of days prior to the event.
During the race, runners can expect bottled water at registration along with refill points strategically placed on the course for hydration support throughout their 15k journey. Additionally, there's a convenient tap near the finish line just off the farm track towards bicycle racking areas where you can top up your bottles one last time before crossing.
The Trifarm team and its enthusiastic supporters like Bill and Ruth will be serving bacon rolls, tea, coffee, and cake pre-race to fuel your run. And after the race, there might even be a chance for some celebratory drinks at a nearby pub!
Safety is paramount; a tail walker/jogger ensures that no runner is left behind or unsupported on this challenging course. Once you've crossed the finish line, make sure to collect any belongings and exit Trifarm before gates are locked.
The event also recognizes top performers with trophies awarded during winter editions for podium placings in league standings based on a MotoGP-style points system but with an additional point bonus for breaking existing course records.
