The Peanut Butter Run

About the Event

Step into the whimsical world of The Peanut Butter Run, where every step is infused with joy and the promise of sweet rewards. Scheduled for April 17, 2027, this unique race invites runners of all abilities to explore a scenic stretch along the River Thames in Staines.
The event kicks off at 9am from The Last Hop, offering participants a flexible time challenge that extends over seven hours. Runners can choose their distance, starting with a minimum of 3km and progressing through full laps of approximately 7km (subject to course conditions). Each lap offers stunning views alongside the Thames, making it easy for runners to enjoy the picturesque setting while navigating well-marked paths.
Participants who complete at least 3 kilometers will receive an exclusive themed medal, celebrating their achievement in style. For those aiming higher, distance pins are available for half-marathon and beyond distances, commemorating milestones like marathons or ultra runs with personalized recognition if it marks a special event milestone such as your 50th marathon.
Supporting the runners throughout the course is an aid table brimming with snacks and drinks at both the start/finish line and along each lap. Vegan options are also available to cater for dietary preferences, ensuring everyone can enjoy their post-race treats guilt-free.
While The Last Hop provides basic facilities like toilets on-site from 8am onwards, participants should note that there are no changing rooms or showers provided. Parking is conveniently located in Bridge Street Car Park nearby.
Join the fun and embrace the spirit of this charming race where every runner's effort is celebrated with a smile and a generous goody bag to cap off your day.
