Registration is open to runners and walkers alike, with entry fees tailored to members at £10 less than the full price. Membership also guarantees you a spot in the race and comes with exclusive perks like mini-me medal pins for each event attended. UK Athletics affiliated club members can enjoy an additional discount of £2 on their entries. This year's edition is hosted by The Last Hop, nestled along the picturesque River Thames in Staines Upon Thames. Participants have the option to partake in a special Christmas dinner post-run at just £50 per person, offering a warm and hearty meal for those who wish to stay after the race. Note that this dining experience is organized independently of Saturn Running. For runners aiming to start before 7:30am, headtorches are mandatory during the initial hour due to low light conditions in early morning hours. The event offers a flexible time challenge format over seven hours, allowing participants to run as much or as little as they'd like within this timeframe. The minimum distance is set at 3km, with full laps measuring either 4.37 miles (or approximately 7km) or potentially adjusted to 3.28 miles depending on course conditions. This setup caters to various distances including half marathons, marathons, and ultra runs, as well as a specific 50km option. The scenic route follows the River Thames, marked with clear signage for easy navigation without requiring navigational skills or GPS devices. All participants who complete at least 3 kilometers will receive an official finisher's medal adorned in festive designs. Distance pins are awarded to runners completing half marathons and beyond within the time limit, adding a personal touch of achievement to your race gear. Additionally, all finishers enjoy a well-deserved goody bag filled with treats, including vegan options upon request at registration. On-site amenities include toilets provided by The Last Hop; however, no dedicated changing facilities or showers are available. Downstairs bathrooms offer sufficient space for changing clothes if needed. Parking is conveniently located in Bridge Street Car Park (TW18 4TP).
