About the event
Season's End Trail Run invites runners of all abilities to celebrate the final days of fall on scenic Predator Ridge trails. Scheduled for October 3rd, this late-season event offers two trail options: a 6km course and a longer 10km route. Both courses wind through crisp autumn air and vibrant foliage, providing breathtaking views at every turn. Participants will enjoy flowing single-track paths that challenge both body and spirit before the onset of winter. The day promises not only stunning natural beauty but also a welcoming atmosphere filled with community and adventure. After crossing the finish line, runners can refuel with chili, hot dogs, and refreshing beverages in the Ellison Landing area at Ellison Provincial Park. Registration costs $20 plus taxes and fees, covering all ages. No refunds are available for this event.

Named after Forbes George Vernon, a former MLA of British Columbia who helped establish the Coldstream Ranch in nearby Coldstream, Vernon was incorporated in 1892. Vernon has a population of 44,519 (2021), while its metropolitan region, Greater Vernon, has a population of 67,086 as of the 2021 Canadian census.
