About the event
Freaky Creeky 2027 invites you to explore the breathtaking landscapes around Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park. This year's race features four exhilarating distances: the challenging 52km, the scenic 29km, the versatile 13.5km, and a fun-filled Kids 2.5km event designed for young trail runners.
The course weaves through classic Okanagan terrain—rolling hills dotted with ponderosa pine forests, Douglas-fir groves, and expansive open grasslands. Participants will face steady climbs and rolling sections, punctuated by technical singletrack trails that challenge your skills while offering rewarding descents where you can pick up speed and enjoy the stunning lake views.
Whether you're a seasoned racer or just starting out, Freaky Creeky offers something for everyone. The 52km route is perfect for those seeking an epic adventure, while the shorter distances cater to trail runners looking for a fun-filled day in nature. Hikers are also welcome on all courses and can enjoy the beautiful scenery at their own pace.
Registration fees vary by distance but early bird discounts apply until January 31st, 2027, with guaranteed T-shirt availability if you register before August 9th, 2027. A portion of each entry fee will be donated to NOCS for trail creation and maintenance in the park.
