Port to Park Open Water Swim

Join the South Melbourne Life Saving Club for the 20th anniversary of the Port to Park Open Water Swim on February 6, 2027. This year's edition offers four distinct swims catering to all ages and skill levels: a fun-filled Kids Splash (250m), a Family Friendly Dash (500m) where up to four family members can swim together, an invigorating 1.1km Swim for swimmers aged 12 and above, and the challenging 2.2km distance exclusively for adults. Swimmers will start and finish in front of the Club's new clubhouse, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with cheers from spectators and fellow participants.
Registration opens at 7:00 AM on race day, but pre-entry discounts are available until January 27th. Don't forget to collect your cap and timing band before hitting the water; both items are essential for participation. Swimmers can leave their belongings in a secure drop-off area provided by the Club.
The event promises an unforgettable experience with its scenic coastal setting and supportive community vibe, making it perfect for swimmers of all ages looking to challenge themselves or simply enjoy a day at the beach. All children who complete the Kids Splash will receive a special medal as part of their memorable adventure.
