Presented by The Rotary Club of Brighton and in association with the Brighton Lifesaving Club, the 18th annual swim event is set to take place at Middle Brighton on Saturday, January 23, 2027. Kieser, a prominent sponsor for this year's races, operates a network of integrated physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and strength training centers in Melbourne and regional Victoria. Competitors can choose from three open water distances: the challenging 650m swim, the more demanding 1400m race, or the full-distance 2500m event. Additionally, there is a special Bayside Junior Dash for younger swimmers. Registration opens online and closes one hour before each race begins; however, late entry prices will be applied after noon on January 23. For young participants under 18 years old, the registration fee is discounted by $10 for both open water events and intermediate races. With breathtaking views of Middle Brighton’s coastline and a supportive community atmosphere, this event promises an unforgettable experience for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Competitors can look forward to a day filled with competition, camaraderie, and the thrill of swimming in one of Australia's most scenic coastal locations.
