Ride Ballarat

The Wait is Over – Welcome Back to Ride Ballarat
After an exciting hiatus, the Ballarat Cycle Classic returns with renewed energy and purpose. This year’s edition marks not just a comeback but also a fresh evolution of the beloved race. The iconic event now features a revitalized look and feel while maintaining its heartwarming spirit.
Riders will pedal for more than just personal achievement; every mile covered supports critical research at the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute (FECRI), making this ride not only about cycling but also about community impact.
The 2026 edition offers two thrilling routes to choose from:
- 50KM: Ideal for cyclists looking for a challenging yet manageable distance, combining scenic landscapes with an electrifying atmosphere. This route promises a high-energy experience and is perfect for those who want to test their endurance in the company of like-minded individuals.
- 100KM: For seasoned riders seeking a true challenge, this longer course covers significant distances while showcasing Ballarat’s diverse terrain. It's designed as a world-class event that tests both physical limits and dedication to the cause.
Both routes start and finish at Mars Stadium, Ballarat – the city’s premier sporting hub. The stadium provides an inspiring backdrop for participants who will be greeted with the excitement of cyclists from all over Australia joining together in support of FECRI's vital work.
Join us this year as we celebrate community spirit and commitment to a greater cause.
Get ready for the glow-up, and let’s make history at Ride Ballarat.
