All participants will gather at Heysham Cricket Club for the start of the festivities. Each race follows a scenic out-and-back course from the heart of Heysham Village to the vibrant promenade along Morecambe Bay, offering stunning views of the sea and surrounding landscapes. The flat terrain makes it ideal for runners of all skill levels. Whether you're setting personal records or just enjoying a family outing, this event offers something special. Competitors can choose from three distances based on their preference and fitness level. Each race begins simultaneously at 11:00 am sharp, ensuring that everyone starts the day together in an energetic atmosphere filled with support and encouragement. Prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers for each distance along with medals for first vertical kilometer achievements across all categories.
