About the Event

Dive into the April Midweek Medal Madness Run on April 9, 2027, and experience an affordable yet flexible running adventure along the picturesque River Thames. This inclusive event welcomes runners of all abilities, from beginners to seasoned athletes, as well as walkers who wish to enjoy the scenic route.
The run offers a generous time window from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, allowing participants full control over their pace and distance. The course features approximately 60% tarmac paths and trails for the remaining portion, which can get muddy at certain times of the year but is always fully signed.
Members enjoy exclusive benefits such as guaranteed entry and a mini-me medal pin with each finish line cross. Runners completing distances equivalent to half-marathons or beyond earn special distance pins to commemorate their achievements.
Aid stations are well-stocked, offering a variety of snacks including vegan options for those who follow plant-based diets. The event also provides goody bags filled with treats and refreshments at the start/finish area.
For this edition, participants can park in Bridge Street Car Park (TW18 4TP) and make use of basic facilities like toilets available from 8:00 AM onwards. Finishers will receive a medal upon completion of any distance starting from just 3km.

Staines-upon-Thames, commonly known simply as Staines, is a market town in northwest Surrey, England, around 17 miles west of central London. It is in the Borough of Spelthorne, at the confluence of the River Thames and Colne. Historically part of Middlesex, the town was transferred to Surrey in 1965.
