About the Event

Welcome to the first round of the Midlands Cyclo-Cross Championships, where cyclists from across the region gather for an exciting series of races. Spanning four rounds, this championship offers a competitive platform for both seasoned riders and newcomers alike.
Each race within the series will contribute points towards the overall standings, making every event crucial for those vying for top positions. This championship stands independently outside British Cycling's affiliated racing, so there are no British Cycling points to be earned or licenses required to participate in these races.
For aspiring young cyclists, a special category is available: the under 9s race. Designed as non-competitive fun, this event welcomes all budding riders at no cost. While it won't feature podium finishes, it provides an excellent opportunity for children to experience the thrill of cyclo-cross racing and develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Competitors should note that tyres must adhere to British Cycling Cyclo-Cross rules, ensuring fairness and safety across the series. As entries close, participants will receive detailed information via email on Fridays preceding each race, covering essential details for participation.
Join us this season as we celebrate the spirit of cyclo-cross in a vibrant setting that promises thrilling rides through varied terrain, showcasing the best of Midlands cycling talent.
