About the Event

Running along the Leeds to Liverpool Canal promises an invigorating experience for athletes seeking a flat out-and-back course that caters equally well to newcomers and seasoned runners. The route's consistent terrain is ideal for those looking to maintain their pace or achieve new personal bests.
Aid stations are strategically positioned throughout, ensuring participants have access to water and essential supplies as they traverse the canal’s scenic path. Emphasizing sustainability, organizers encourage runners to bring reusable cups to help minimize waste during hydration stops.
On-the-day registration is available right beside the canal, making it easy for last-minute entrants or those who prefer not to pre-register online. The area around the start line offers convenient amenities and services, enhancing your race day experience.
Safety remains a top priority; runners are reminded to be cautious when crossing roads along the route. Headphone use is discouraged to maintain awareness of surroundings and fellow participants. For more information on transfer policies and self-service features available at the event, visit the official website for detailed guidance.
Enjoy the picturesque setting as you challenge yourself against a flat course that offers both scenic beauty and practical benefits for runners aiming to achieve their goals or simply enjoy a well-organized race day experience.
