Hatfield Moors - Race Series

Explore the expansive Hatfield Moors, part of the Humberhead Peatland—the largest raised bog wilderness in lowland Britain—on November 22, 2026. This unique canicross race offers runners and their canine companions a chance to traverse varied trails through this special area of conservation. The event features two route options: a 4-mile run for those seeking an easier pace or a more challenging 6.3-mile trek with its share of technical sections and faster stretches.
Participants will enjoy the scenic beauty and wildlife-rich landscape as they navigate the moor's diverse terrain, from open heath to dense woodland paths. After crossing the finish line, runners can relax while their dogs receive a well-deserved treat in the form of a goodie bag. Refreshments are also available for humans looking to refuel after their adventure.
Join Hallam and Doncaster Canicross Clubs for this inaugural public event series that emphasizes community spirit and shared love for outdoor activities with man's best friend. Membership offers discounts on future races, providing an added incentive to connect with like-minded enthusiasts.
