GetCareers Australia Day Fun Run 2027

The GetCareers Australia Day Fun Run 2027 invites runners and walkers to celebrate on January 26, 2027, at Koolambidi Woola (Youth Precinct). The vibrant atmosphere of this family-friendly event features both a 10km run and a 5km walk/run option. Participants can enjoy scenic routes through the precinct’s green spaces while supporting Solaris Cancer Care with their entry fees.
Registration opens on November 1, 2026, and closes at 5 PM on January 25, 2027. Race numbers must be collected in advance from Koolambidi Woola between January 24-25 or can be picked up early on the morning of the race. The briefings for both distances take place just before start times: 7:20 AM for all participants.
The event starts at 7:30 AM with the 10km run, followed by a 7:35 AM departure for the 5km route. All juniors under eight years old must be accompanied by an adult throughout the race to ensure safety and enjoyment.
Entry fees are $40 for adults in the 10km event and $25 for those aged 12-15, while the 5km walk/run costs $30 for open categories and $15 for juniors between six and sixteen. Children under six can participate free of charge but won’t be eligible for prizes.
Participants are encouraged to register early as numbers will be capped due to venue capacity constraints. Prams are welcome at the back of the field, ensuring a safe environment for all participants. Enjoy this special day celebrating Australia’s rich culture and community spirit!
