About the Event

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Lake Leschenaultia OWST offers swimmers an unforgettable experience at this scenic location within a National Park. All finishers will receive a commemorative towel sponsored by the Shire of Mundaring.
Swimming distances cater to various age groups and skill levels:
- Jump in the Lake (400m): Open to participants aged 8 years and older, with swimmers under 9 requiring adult supervision.
- Intermediate Swim (800m): Suitable for those aged 10 and above.
- Advanced Swim (1600m/1.6km): Ideal for more experienced swimmers from the age of 11 years onwards, this distance also includes awards for the closest to a nominated time in each category.
- Championship Distance (3200m/3.2km): For seasoned athletes aged 12 and above.
Participants should note that no dogs or pets are allowed on site except registered assistance animals with proper certification.
The event is set amidst stunning natural surroundings, making it a perfect day out for swimmers of all ages. The lakeside restaurant "The Flackseed" will be serving meals using local produce throughout the day, alongside a kiosk offering coffee, snacks, ice creams and light refreshments.
Late entries are accepted on race day with an additional fee applicable to events other than the 400m swim. Payment for late registration can be made in cash or card at the event site along with raffle ticket purchases.
Join us as we mark this historic milestone and enjoy a day of swimming, food, and community spirit at Lake Leschenaultia.
