The Wild Rose Women's Indoor Triathlon Experience is designed for triathletes at every level, from first-timers to seasoned pros. The race unfolds over three segments: swimming, cycling, and running, each tailored to accommodate all abilities. Swim (10 minutes) Upon arrival, participants will check in and be body marked by volunteers who ensure you are ready for the pool. Group leaders guide athletes into lanes based on similar swim paces. Swimmers can choose their own stroke and pace, with assistance from lifeguards and marshals to keep everyone safe and comfortable. Your group leader offers encouragement throughout this segment. Transition (15 minutes) After exiting the pool, participants quickly transition in the locker room area before heading up to the spin studio for the cycling portion of the event. Volunteers assist you as you set up your stationary bike, ensuring it's adjusted correctly for a comfortable ride. Bike Ride (20 minutes) Instructors lead this indoor cycling session, providing guidance on pacing and effort levels throughout the 20-minute workout. Friendly volunteers are available to help with any adjustments or questions during the ride. Transition (5 minutes) Following your bike ride, you transition once more for a short walk to the track area where you'll prepare for the run segment of the event. Your group leader ensures everyone is ready and provides final instructions before heading out onto the track. Run/Walk (15 minutes) On the designated lanes of an indoor track, participants can choose their pace between walking and running over 15 minutes. Marshals keep athletes informed about time remaining and direct them to exit points at the conclusion of the run segment. Post-race festivities include a group photo in the lobby along with commemorative finisher items and refreshments from Jugo Juice. Friends and family are welcome throughout, particularly during the swim portion where they can cheer you on from stands overlooking the pool area. Participants should arrive 30 minutes before their assigned heat start times for check-in procedures. Essential gear includes a swimsuit or triathlon suit with goggles and a provided Wild Rose Swim Cap. A towel is mandatory for transitioning between events, along with running shoes if needed for the final track segment. The event aims to create an inclusive environment where all athletes can achieve success at their own pace while enjoying camaraderie and support from fellow participants and staff alike.
