Experience the North Hampshire Marathon and Half Marathon, an exhilarating race offering breathtaking views of rolling meadows, picturesque valleys, and stunning tracks through historic villages. The course features challenging climbs with a maximum elevation of 280 meters, followed by long fast downhill sections that showcase the region's natural beauty.
For military personnel, this event includes the Military Cup—a chance for units to compete against each other in both marathon and half-marathon categories. Teams consist of up to four runners who race together, aiming for the fastest cumulative time to claim the coveted silverware.
On September 4, 2027, car park access opens at 6:30 AM, with the marathon briefing starting at 7:45 AM and the race kicking off promptly at 8:00 AM. The half-marathon begins a bit later, with briefings from 8:15 AM to 8:30 AM.
The full marathon route spans 26.2 miles, taking runners up Testway to Coombe Gibbet, Hampshire's highest point, before returning through the Conholt estate and picturesque villages back to Enham. The half-marathon covers a scenic loop of 13.1 miles, winding its way from Enham up to Hurstbourne Tarrant.
Organizers ensure that all road crossings are marshalled for safety, and medical support is available throughout both races. Marathon runners will find three well-stocked aid stations along the route, while half-marathon participants enjoy a fully stocked halfway station.
Finisher medals await every participant who completes either race, with additional prizes awarded to the top male and female finishers in each event. The race uses chip timing for instant results.
