The organizers chose this cause because of its personal significance; one of their Reading Rascal Junior Triathletes tragically passed away at age 16, and 2Wish has been instrumental in supporting the family through their loss. The event is a joyful celebration without official timing or results – it's all about having fun while raising funds for charity. Participants will receive an unisex trouser Santa suit, a festive Christmas medal upon completion of the run, as well as a mince pie and chocolate treat at the finish line. Additionally, free downloadable photos from the event capture memories to cherish. Save £3 on your entry if you bring your own red outfit or Santa costume. The organizers can provide suits, hats, and baby grows for all ages who wish to participate in this whimsical dash through Dinton Pastures Country Park. For safety reasons, children under 8 must be accompanied by a registered adult during the 2km run, while those under 11 should have an accompanying adult for the 5km route.
