472e Demi-marathon de l'Acadie

The Demi-Marathon de L'Acadie, set to take place on February 7, 2027, offers runners an unforgettable experience in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick. This race, which began in 2026, features a unique two-loop course starting and finishing at the Piscine S.A. Dionne.
Participants can choose between a half marathon (21.1 km) or a shorter distance of 10.55 km, both running on the same scenic route. Runners who expect to take more than 2 hours and 20 minutes are welcome to start at 9 am for an early departure, allowing volunteers to manage the event smoothly.
The race day includes a post-race ceremony where top finishers receive medals—gold, silver, or bronze based on their placement—and enjoy a meal served in the second floor of Piscine S.A. Dionne around noon. The virtual option is also available for those who prefer to run from anywhere and submit results by sending a selfie with their watch showing time and distance before 6 pm.
With its distinctive course layout and community atmosphere, the Demi-Marathon de L'Acadie invites runners of all levels to experience this charming event in Tracadie-Sheila.
