About the Event

Experience the heart of cycling excitement at Hnry Stadium in Wellington with the classic hotdog criterium. Runners will navigate 700-meter laps along the scenic Fran Wilde Walkway, located beside the main ticket gates, offering a flat and fast course that winds through picturesque surroundings. Entry fees vary based on membership status: WMCC members can participate for free, while non-members from other Wellington clubs pay $20, and general participants are charged $40.
Registration opens at 8:00 AM and continues until ten minutes before each grade's start time. The day is divided into several grades, catering to different age groups and skill levels:
- Junior 12-15 years (9:00 AM)
- E Grade (9:35 AM)
- D Grade (10:15 AM)
- C Grade (11:00 AM)
- B Grade (11:50 AM)
- A Grade (12:40 PM)
Each grade features a unique duration followed by two laps around the course. Juniors aged 16 to 18 should enter based on their abilities or consult with organizers via email for guidance.
