Wencheng Baitangchi Mountain Trail Challenge 2026 (2026文成百丈漈越野挑战赛)

Dive into the heart of Zhejiang's wilderness at the 2026 Wen Cheng Baitangji Mountain Trail Challenge, scheduled for December 27th. Nestled in the scenic mountains near Wenzhou, this race offers a unique blend of natural beauty and challenging terrain across four distinct categories: Vantage Peak (41KM), Cloud Traverse (35KM), Summit Climb (22KM), and Song Pathway (7KM). The event takes place around Baitangji Falls, known as the "Highest Waterfall in China," with a total drop of 353 meters. Participants will experience breathtaking views and steep ascents through lush forests and historic red maple trails.
The race day promises perfect weather conditions, neither too hot nor cold, allowing runners to focus on both speed and scenery. The Vantage Peak category features the most challenging route with over 2800m of elevation gain, while the Cloud Traverse offers a slightly shorter but equally scenic course with stunning views from high above. For those seeking something more manageable yet still rewarding, Summit Climb provides an ideal balance of distance and difficulty.
Registration is open until November 2nd for early bird pricing, ensuring participants have ample time to prepare for this unforgettable adventure in the mountains where history meets nature. Join runners as they immerse themselves in a landscape that inspired generations of Chinese literature, setting foot on paths less traveled and exploring hidden gems like ancient red maple trails.
Experience the magic of Baitangji Falls and its surrounding peaks firsthand during one of China's most picturesque winter events.
