Pathfinder 2026 Yandang Mountain Four Peaks Trail Race (拓路者2026雁荡山四尖越野赛)

The 2026 Taoluzhe Yandang Mountain Four Peaks Ultra Race is set to take place on December 12 and 13 at the Tourism Hub Center in Yueqing City, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. The event features a variety of race categories including 16KM Trail Exploration (A and B groups), 10KM Streamside Run, 5KM Solo Wilderness Seeker (two separate entries for adults and children), as well as more challenging options like the 42KM Peak Conqueror and the 30KM Cloud Mountain Climb.
Registration opens on August 30 at 10:00 AM, with spots allocated on a first-come-first-served basis until full capacity is reached.
The 16KM Trail Exploration routes are designed to introduce runners to Yandang’s rugged terrain and natural beauty, featuring an elevation gain of over 450 meters across the course's total length of 16 kilometers. Participants in Group A will start their journey at 7:00 AM on December 12th, while those in Group B commence at 8:00 AM that same morning, with both groups having a four-hour window to complete the race.
The 10KM Streamside Run offers runners an opportunity to enjoy Yandang’s serene waterways and lush greenery. Starting from 9:00 AM on December 12th, this route includes over 300 meters of elevation gain across its ten-kilometer length.
For those looking for a shorter adventure, the Solo Wilderness Seeker (5KM) and Family Adventure Race (one adult and one child) both begin at 9:30 AM on December 12th. These courses are designed to be accessible yet challenging with an elevation gain of over 300 meters across five kilometers.
The more ambitious runners can tackle the longer distances offered by the event, such as the grueling 42KM Peak Conqueror and the equally demanding 30KM Cloud Mountain Climb. Both routes offer spectacular views and significant climbs; the 42KM race starts at 5:00 AM on December 13th with a closing time of 5:00 PM, while the 30KM route begins an hour later and concludes nine hours later.
All races are designed to showcase Yandang Mountain's unique landscapes, combining steep ascents with scenic descents through dense forest and along mountain streams. Runners will experience firsthand why this area is renowned for its natural beauty and challenging terrain.
