2026 Second "Mountain and Sea Path" Cangnan 168 Golden Coastline Ultra Trail Challenge Race (2026第二届“山海之径”苍南168黄金海岸线越野挑战赛)

The 2026 Second Edition of the "Pathway Through Mountains and Sea" Cangnan 168 Golden Coastline Ultra Challenge is set to take place from December 5-6, 2026, at the scenic Yuliao Tourist Area in Wenzhou City's Cangnan County, Zhejiang Province. This event features three distinct routes: "Soul of the Sea" (40K), "Path of the Mountains" (20K), and "Green Energy" (8K). Participants are encouraged to register early as spots fill up quickly.
The Soul of the Sea 40K route offers a challenging course with an accumulated elevation gain of 1,895 meters and reaches its highest point at 406 meters above sea level. The actual distance is approximately 39.4 kilometers, starting on December 6th at 7:30 AM, with a time limit of 9.5 hours.
The Path of the Mountains 20K route features an elevation gain of 831 meters and peaks at 422 meters above sea level over its actual distance of about 19.84 kilometers. This race begins on December 6th at 8:00 AM, with a time limit of 5 hours.
The Green Energy 8K route is the shortest event, covering an elevation gain of 211 meters and reaching up to 203 meters in altitude over its actual distance of approximately 7.32 kilometers. It starts on December 5th at 3:00 PM with a time limit of 2 hours.
This year's challenge is designed around the Cangnan County’s famous "Golden Coastline," which highlights five key elements - sea, beach, harbor, village, and island. The event promotes sustainable development through its unique blend of sports and cultural tourism experiences. In partnership with China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), participants will immerse themselves in a journey that combines physical endurance with environmental respect.
