About the Event

Experience the natural beauty of Australia's World Heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforests at the 17th Washpool World Heritage Trails. Nestled within the Washpool and Gibraltar Range National Parks, this race offers runners an unparalleled journey through some of NSW’s most pristine and diverse forest landscapes. Embark on a course that weaves through ancient rainforests, ascends dramatic granite outcrops, and follows crystal-clear creeks, creating a trail experience like no other.
For the ultra-distance enthusiasts, the 50km Ultra race begins its adventurous route at 8:00am on Saturday, April 3rd. The shorter distances are equally captivating with two options for Sunday, April 4th: the challenging 25km course also starting at 8:00am and a more accessible 9km run kicking off at 8:15am.
Whether you're seeking to push your limits or simply enjoy the scenic beauty of these historic trails, this event promises an unforgettable runner experience. With its unique blend of natural wonders and well-marked paths, participants will find themselves immersed in the heart of Australia's rich ecological heritage.
