In the heart of Australia's iconic Blue Mountains, Go4 is excited to announce its return with the VIC100 charity ride on Sunday, November 21st, 2027. After an unforgettable inaugural year and a brief hiatus due to road closures in 2026, this event promises to be bigger, better, and every bit as spectacular. The VIC100 is more than just a cycling challenge; it's a journey through breathtaking landscapes that showcase the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains. This 100km ride aims to inspire riders while supporting mental health initiatives with proceeds going directly to Lifeline Australia. Your adventure begins at Tench Reserve in Penrith, where you’ll embark on an unforgettable route along Bells Line of Road and Darling Causeway – roads that are closed entirely to traffic for the day. This rare experience allows cyclists a peaceful journey through some of New South Wales' most scenic terrain. Riders will depart from Penrith into four self-selected pace groups, each consisting of up to 200 participants escorted by NSW Police. The route takes you past North Richmond and then begins your first climb up Kurrajong Heights. Throughout the ride, volunteers at food and drink stops, mobile mechanics, St John Ambulance teams, and on-course marshals will ensure a smooth and supportive journey. The day culminates in the picturesque gardens of Victoria & Albert Guest House in Mount Victoria, where a finish-line festival awaits to celebrate your achievement. This event is designed not just for experienced cyclists but also those looking for an inspiring challenge amidst stunning scenery. Join us in 2027 as we ride through history and beauty, supporting a cause that touches the lives of many across Australia. We look forward to seeing you there!
