Ultra Running Workshop

On February 7, 2027, runners eager to tackle their first or next ultra marathon will converge for an immersive day of learning at the Ultra Running Workshop. Hosted by a seasoned ultrarunner who has conquered renowned races like UTMB, this event promises practical insights and hands-on experience.
The morning begins with a kit check where participants can review what others have brought—packs, shoes, poles—and enjoy tea or coffee while networking. By 10:00 AM, the day's first session delves into essential ultra running principles such as pacing strategies, walk-run balance, and maintaining mental fortitude.
Following a brief break, attendees head out for an on-trail run focusing on practical techniques like power hiking climbs and eating during movement. After lunch at noon where participants discuss their experiences from the trail run, the afternoon sessions cover nutrition and hydration tactics crucial to long-distance running.
From 14:30 PM onwards, runners learn how to build a comprehensive training plan with back-to-back runs and recovery methods. The day wraps up with session five, addressing race-day challenges like checkpoints, mental resilience during low points, and practical solutions for common issues such as blisters and stomach problems. A Q&A round concludes the workshop at 15:50 PM, leaving participants well-equipped to take on their next ultra marathon challenge.
This event offers a blend of theoretical knowledge and real-world application in one intensive day designed specifically for aspiring ultrarunners.
