For the eighth consecutive year, this three-day extravaganza combines breathtaking coastal swims and exhilarating runs through the island's narrow alleys, rugged mountains, picturesque bridges, bustling port, and pristine beaches. The centerpiece of the event is the SwimRun race, which serves as the final in the My SwimRun Championship series. Competitors will face a challenging course that alternates between open water swimming and all-terrain running across various distances: - Rookies Distance: A 7.5k swim-run adventure with four legs of running (totaling 7k) and three short swims (0.5k). - Initiation Distance: Spanning 12.8k, this course features four runs totaling 10.8k and three swims covering a total distance of 2k. - Core Distance Team Race & Individual Participation: Both team-based and individual competitors will tackle the core distance race over 23.4k, with six running legs (totaling 19.7k) and five swimming legs (covering 3.65k). - Advanced Distance: The most challenging option at 38.7k includes seven runs totaling 33.9k and six swims covering a total of 4.8k. SwimRun adheres to strict rules, requiring athletes to participate in pairs connected by an elastic rope during the swim legs. Wetsuits are mandatory for all distances except individual entries at the core distance race. The event also offers a range of activities suitable for families and athletes of various skill levels.
