About the Event

The Apollon Athletics Club of Western Attica proudly presents its annual long-distance races on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at Psatha beach. This year marks the milestone events: the 20th edition of the 100km Road Race in memory of Takis Skoulis and the 15th anniversary of the 50km Race honoring Alexandros Theofanidis. Additionally, the club will host the 4th iteration of the challenging 120km race, which qualifies participants for the Spartathlon, alongside a specially designed 110km event exclusively for women.
These races are held under the auspices of EOLSMAY and adhere to the regulations set by both IAAF and IAU. The course is a meticulously measured circular route around Psatha beach, officially certified at 3,333.4 meters in length by Mr. Giorgos Dousis, an official IAAF timekeeper.
The event begins early on Saturday morning with participants gathering for the start line at 06:30 AM. Throughout the race, athletes will benefit from comprehensive support services including a fully equipped aid station and medical assistance along the route. Electronic timing ensures accurate results for all competitors.
In addition to an unforgettable challenge of endurance, runners can look forward to receiving medals, commemorative cups, technical t-shirts, and transportation back to their coaches upon completion. This event celebrates athletic prowess, collective effort, and a deep sense of honor among participants from around the world.
