About the Event

The Tri-Quest multisport race hits Muriel Lake M.D. Park on Saturday, 30 May 2026 at 1:00 PM MDT, tucking 9 km of biking, 3 km of paddling, and 4.5 km of running into one wildly fun course. Located at 60304 RGE RD 452, this event welcomes solo racers and teams of 3 or 4 people (one biker, one or two paddlers, one runner). All experience levels are invited—whether you're shaking off winter rust or chasing a podium.

The bike leg covers pavement, gravel, uneven cross-country trails, loose rocks, and grass. No e-bikes allowed. Helmets are mandatory. The paddle leg welcomes canoes, kayaks, or paddle boards—human-powered only. PFDs are non-negotiable. The run leg stays on a marked course with one checkpoint and a water station. Volunteers in orange Tri-Quest shirts will be stationed everywhere to keep you on track and cheered on.

After you cross the finish line, stick around for awards, an onsite BBQ (separate charge), and live local music from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Camping is available for the whole weekend—participants get 10% off using promo code "2026QUEST" at letscamp.ca for Muriel Lake M.D. Park. Note that camping and race registration are separate bookings.

Register by 1 May 2026 to guarantee a Tri-Quest T-shirt (extras may exist but no promises). Team captains pay the team rate; each teammate then registers for free. Youth categories: 12–17 years old. Mixed youth/adult teams count as Adult Teams. Everyone 18 and older signs a waiver. Parents sign for minors. Open liquor and cannabis are prohibited in public areas—keep those confined to registered campsites only.
