Trail du Cap - Pointe du Raz

Welcome to the Trail du Cap-Pointe du Raz, set to take place on March 7, 2027. This year marks an exciting change with registration opening in two phases between December 1 and December 15, 2026. Participants will need to check Klikego’s page regularly for updates as the event organizers test this new system to ensure a smoother experience.
The trail offers three distances: 17.5 km, 30 km, and 52 km, all winding through breathtaking coastal paths with some sections on natural trails or country roads in Cap-Sizun. The terrain is varied but primarily hilly, offering runners stunning ocean views along the rugged coastline of Brittany.
The event kicks off early morning, with the longest course starting at 7:30 AM and the shortest beginning at 10:30 AM. Each route features multiple checkpoints for hydration and snacks, ensuring participants are well-supported throughout their journey. Notably, runners on both the 30 km and 52 km courses will face a strict time barrier near kilometer 25, requiring them to be disciplined in pacing.
The trail's scenic highlights include stops at picturesque spots like Trouzen, Poulblich, and Chapelle du Bon Voyage. Each checkpoint is strategically placed to offer runners both physical sustenance and emotional boosts as they tackle the challenging terrain.
Participants should note that there will be no on-site registration or bib exchanges; all entrants must adhere strictly to these rules for a fair competition. The event concludes with an awards ceremony at 1:00 PM, recognizing the top three male and female finishers in each category.
