The Semi Marathon du Finistère returns to the Crozon Peninsula for another edition that weaves through landscapes of land, sea, and greenways. The race offers three distinct options: a 21.1 km semi-marathon, a 10 km run, and Nordic walking event, all converging at Camaret-sur-Mer in the heart of the festive village. This year's route for the semi-marathon sees an improved starting point that better suits the course’s spirit—an accessible, smooth-running race deeply rooted in the local community. Participants can expect a scenic journey across diverse terrains, from coastal paths to inland trails, all while enjoying the unique atmosphere and stunning views of the Crozon Peninsula. Both the 10 km run and Nordic walking event follow the last 10 kilometers of the semi-marathon route, ensuring that runners and walkers alike experience the essence of this celebrated race without committing to the full distance. The event is not just about chasing a personal best; it's an opportunity for all participants to explore the Crozon Peninsula, breathe in the salty air, traverse its distinctive territory, and join in the celebratory spirit at Camaret-sur-Mer. Upon crossing the finish line, runners will be greeted by the bustling race village featuring refreshment stations, merchandise stalls, food trucks, entertainment zones, and a prize-giving ceremony. This creates an engaging post-race atmosphere for competitors, supporters, and spectators alike. The Semi Marathon du Finistère is renowned for its accessible nature, secure course management, runner-centric organization, festive finish line in Camaret-sur-Mer, commitment to eco-responsibility, and strong emphasis on showcasing the beauty of the Crozon Peninsula. Whether you're looking to push your limits, explore new terrain, support friends, or simply enjoy a memorable sporting experience in Brittany, this event is an invitation for all.
