About the Event

Nestled along South Devon's breathtaking coastline, the Total Coastal 50km Ultra and Half Marathon offer runners an unforgettable journey through diverse landscapes and stunning vistas. Participants begin their adventure at Kingswear for the ultra-distance race, which concludes at Shaldon’s Ness, while half marathoners start from Preston Green near Paignton before joining the final leg of the ultra route.
For those seeking convenience, a £10 coach transfer is available to whisk runners directly from Shaldon back to their respective starting points in time for the event. This option ensures that participants can focus solely on the run without worrying about transportation logistics.
Race day rewards include bespoke finisher medals and sweet treats tailored specifically for each distance. Additionally, T-Coastal Event T-shirts are available for purchase at £12 for those who wish to commemorate their achievement with a keepsake.
The ultra race kicks off at 7:45 AM, followed by the half marathon starting at 9:30 AM. With strict cut-off times of six hours for the half and ten hours fifteen minutes for the full distance, racers are challenged to maintain steady paces throughout their journey along the South West Coast Path.
As a cup-less event, participants must bring their own water containers or hydration systems to ensure they stay hydrated during this scenic yet demanding course. The Total Coastal Ultra & Half Marathon promises an immersive experience that combines natural beauty with athletic challenge, making it a standout event for runners and nature enthusiasts alike.
For more information on registration details and additional race day amenities, visit the official website where all necessary guidelines are provided to ensure a smooth and enjoyable racing experience.
