The event begins at 9:30 am, offering runners a chance to soak in the scenic beauty of Cockington as they navigate winding trails adorned with lush greenery and panoramic views. Participants can expect one water stop along the route, ensuring hydration is well-timed throughout their journey. The course will be clearly marked and marshalled for easy navigation.
Upon crossing the finish line after approximately two hours and fifteen minutes, runners are greeted by a bespoke metal medal as a symbol of accomplishment. To celebrate your achievement, indulge in post-race treats such as Christmas cake, mince pies, or a Yule log—each designed to warm you up on this festive day.
Registration fees for the 10k event start at £23 for affiliated runners and increase slightly to £25 for unaffiliated participants. The race is open only to those aged sixteen years and older. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, as well as age group winners who will receive their awards after the day's festivities.
