Both routes traverse a National Trust haven in Carding Mill Valley, known for its picturesque tea rooms near the start and finish line.
Runners are advised to carry essential supplies such as a rucksack with at least 500ml of water and basic first aid equipment. The race begins promptly at 9am, with full marathon participants facing a strict cut-off time of 7 hours in total or 12:30pm for completing their initial loop.
Carding Mill Valley is conveniently located near Church Stretton, offering easy access to the town's amenities and train station just a mile away. The race entry fee includes an impressive medal and well-stocked aid stations along the route, ensuring runners are supported throughout.
