Table Mountain FORRIES BEAST 2027

Experience the rugged beauty of Table Mountain with the BEAST Ultra Series on June 5, 2027. Choose from three challenging distances: the grueling 50km Ultra, the intense 30km race, or the invigorating 16km course. Each route offers a unique blend of stunning vistas and demanding terrain.
The 50km Ultra takes runners on an epic journey through Newlands Forest's leafy trails before ascending to the daunting Blockhouse via steep climbs and technical descents. The 30km race, while less extensive, still delivers heart-pumping forest runs and challenging ascents up Nursery Ravine. For those seeking a shorter but equally thrilling adventure, the 16km course starts at Suikerbossie in Hout Bay and winds through pristine Myburghs Trail before traversing Orange Kloof's ancient indigenous forest.
All races feature marked routes, medical support, and breathtaking scenery that will test your limits while rewarding you with unforgettable moments. Finishers receive a commemorative medal to mark their achievement. Online entries close on May 25, 2027, so secure your spot early for this unmissable event in the Cape Town mountains.
Registration takes place at Foresters Arms from June 1-7, 2027.
Start times vary: 6:30am for the 50km Ultra and 7:30am for the 30km race both starting at Foresters Arms; while the 16km begins in Hout Bay at Suikerbossie Restaurant at 9:00am.
Parking is available near Newlands Forest, with a tunnel connecting to the start venue. Shuttle services will transport participants from Suikerbossie for the shorter distance race.
