START FITNESS FAST 5000

Winter Edition of the Start Fitness Fast 5000 | 5KM Road Race takes place on Sunday, December 20, 2026, at Torbay Velopark in South Devon. Known for its fast and furious racing environment, this event features a closed road circuit that promises excellent conditions for runners aiming to achieve personal bests.
The race is meticulously organized with an England Athletics licence number (number pending), ensuring high standards of competition integrity. The course accuracy certificate confirms the distance as precisely 5km on December 24th, providing assurance to all participants about the exactness of their run.
Runners can expect a flat and fast circuit that offers minimal elevation changes, making it an ideal setting for speed enthusiasts looking to challenge themselves against both the clock and other competitors. The race is scheduled with two waves: Wave A starts at 12:00 PM and Wave B follows shortly after at 12:30 PM.
Participants in the first wave have a chance to win Start Fitness vouchers as prizes, with top male and female finishers receiving £125 each, second place winners taking home £75, and third-place runners earning £50. This incentivizes athletes to push their limits on this well-maintained closed road circuit.
The event's location in South Devon provides a scenic backdrop for the race, with its coastal views adding an extra layer of appeal to what is already a thrilling running experience.
