Spunch!, an adventurous twist on traditional treasure hunts, invites participants to explore the scenic 3 Peaks of Buxton: Burbage Edge, Corbar Cross, and Solomons Temple. This unique mini-adventure offers flexibility with no set route or order—choose your path through woodland trails, tarmac roads, and moorland areas as you visit each peak. The event is open to all ages and abilities, from seasoned runners to casual walkers. With an estimated course distance of 11.5km and around 450m of climbing, participants can customize their route based on personal preference or challenge level. Satellite punching via the MapRun app ensures a seamless experience for both solo adventurers and group outings. Registration opens at The Duke Burbage in Burbage from 9:30 AM, allowing early starts between 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM with course closure by 3:45 PM. Essential safety equipment will be checked upon registration due to the winter conditions and hill terrain. After your adventure, unwind at The Duke Burbage where drinks and food await in both indoor and outdoor spaces designed for a warm welcome to all participants, including dogs on leashes. With ample parking nearby and easy access via train or road from Manchester, High Peak, Leek, and Macclesfield, this event promises an unforgettable day out.
