Monsal Tinsel Trail Christmas 10k, 5k & Junior Run

Celebrate the holiday spirit with a unique running experience on the Monsal Trail this December! On Saturday, 5th of December at 10:30 AM, runners and their families are invited to join us for an enchanting Christmas-themed race. The event features three distances—10k, 5k, and a Junior Run—to cater to various fitness levels.
The Monsal Trail offers a picturesque setting with its undulating terrain winding through the heart of Derbyshire's Peak District. Participants will enjoy crisp winter air and frost-dusted paths, making for an unforgettable run in one of England’s most scenic landscapes. The trail is traffic-free, ensuring runners can focus on their pace while taking in breathtaking views.
Race day promises a festive atmosphere with all abilities welcome to participate. Runners are encouraged to dress up in fancy costumes; the best dressed will receive a special prize. At the finish line, participants and spectators alike will be greeted by warm holiday cheer and celebratory treats.
In addition to the scenic route and festive ambiance, runners can look forward to receiving bespoke medals upon completion of their chosen distance. Free photographs capture memorable moments from the event, while trophies and prizes are awarded to leading racers in each category.
Entry fees for race day include:
- 10k: £35
