Smithy's Charity Trail Run 2027

Join us for Smithy’s Charity Trail Run 2027, a special 5-mile trail run to support Bolton Hospice on February 13, 2027. This marks the tenth anniversary of my father's passing at Bolton Hospice after battling Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and it is our final charity event for now. The race takes place at Egerton Cricket Club in Bolton, offering a scenic route through local trails that highlight the area’s natural beauty.
Participants will gather for a brief pre-race meeting at 10:50 am before starting their run at precisely 11:00 am. This chip-timed event welcomes runners of all levels and is an opportunity to contribute to a cause that has made a significant impact on many lives in the community. Online registration closes on February 10, but there will be limited on-the-day entries available if spots remain.
Come out for a meaningful run through picturesque trails and help raise funds for Bolton Hospice’s vital services.
