Silkeborgløbet 2027

Silkeborgløbet, scheduled for April 17, 2027, invites runners and walkers to explore the scenic woods around Silkeborg. The race features distances of 5 km, 10 km, half marathon (21.1 km), and a children's run of 2.5 km, all winding through lush forests like Nordskoven, Øster Skov, and Vejlbo Mose.
The course is designed as an elegant star-shaped loop, offering runners panoramic views and the chance to test their fitness before the Royal Run in May. Participants can enjoy a peaceful walk or challenge themselves with longer distances, all while taking in the natural beauty of Silkeborg's woodland trails.
For families, the children’s run offers a fun 2.5 km route around Aqua Park, complete with free medals and ice cream for young participants up to age 12. Parents are welcome to accompany their kids on this family-friendly event without needing an entry number themselves.
The half marathon walk starts at noon, allowing walkers up to four-and-a-half hours to complete the scenic loop through Silkeborg's picturesque landscapes before reaching the finish line by 4:30 PM.
Silkeborgløbet promises a day filled with fresh air and vibrant community spirit in one of Denmark’s most charming forest settings.
